A Video Starring Miss Evie & Daddy's Hairy Knees

A little video showcasing our baby's superhuman strength.  (Or maybe it's normal, we don't really know, we've never had a baby before).  Either way, Mommy is attributing it to all of the protein that she ate during pregnancy, and Daddy thinks she's destined to develop some superhero abilities in the future.

Evie's First Road Trip

 As she usually does, Evelyn slept in her car seat for these 2-hour stretches of driving. Then after arriving on Friday evening, Evie realizes how many arms there are to hold and entertain her - and decides she does not want to go to sleep.  Mommy and Daddy may never forget driving her around Chanute at 3 in the morning in a desperate attempt to silence the crying babe.
Then, inexplicably on Saturday night, Evelyn slept like an angel.  Overall, a fun and eventful trip - we're all looking forward to next time.

Girl's Outing

On Sunday, Auntie Kristyn came to visit us in Kansas City and we walked around Westport for an hour in the afternoon.  It was a freakishly hot day, but still nice to get out of the apartment for awhile.  (love love love the new stroller).
