Hooray!! Henry Is Home!!

Henry's Hospital Stay

Due to some very minor health issues that popped up, our sweet Henry had to spend a few extra days at the hospital while they ran tests and treated his jaundice.  It was a really, really hard few days for Joe and I, it was agony not being able to bring our little guy home immediately.  Thankfully, Henry was discharged to us on Sunday afternoon, a happy and healthy baby boy.  Our families were a huge help to us during this time, we are so grateful to them.  Joe's mom watched Evie while we were in labor at the hospital.  My parents flew out from Kansas to help with Evie while we ran back and forth to spend time with Henry in the hospital nursery.  Other family members brought food.  We are so fortunate to have had so much love and support during this time.  We love you guys!

Henry's Birthday

After trying literally everything to get Henry here and watching our due date come and go, we arrived at the hospital to induce labor on Tuesday evening.  Approximately 24 hours later, our beautiful son was born, bringing us such overwhelming and indescribable joy, relief, and gratitude.

  

Gola Wren's 5th Birthday!

We weren't sure if we would make it, since today is Henry's due date, but we were so glad that we got to help celebrate Gola's 5th birthday. Vicki and Ray threw such a great party for her at the park, and Evie had a total blast!  She especially loved the party hats, (she tried on several of them), and the animal cookies on the tables that she could help herself to, (and she did).

Steele Indian School Park

We took Evie to the park this morning, and decided to walk there.  It was over 3 miles round-trip, and very tiring, but we're trying to get Henry to come sooner than later.  It didn't get him here any earlier, but we did have a great time together at the park.
