Okay, it's not really a secret garden, but it is rather unassuming from the street.  We were on a long walk to the library and decided to check it out.  It was so beautiful!

The Baby Girls

Two of the other couples in our birthing class had baby girls.  Evelyn was born first on June 21st, Kennedi was born on June 28th, and Mae was born on  July 21st.  Their moms are pretty cool too.

The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

We're pretty lucky to live within walking distance of probably the two best art museums in Kansas City.  Plus they have free admission, which makes it easy to stop in whenever we're out and in need of a little culture, ha.  

The Farmer's Market

Evie's Aunt Staci & Uncle Jonathan came to stay with us this weekend.  We had a really great time with them, and our little girl loved all of the attention.

A New Tub!

We've discovered that our little Evie enjoys being in the water as much as her Daddy did.  So she gets a new tub (which she loves!), and we don't have to use four arms to hold her up in the sink anymore.

We've started giving Evie her bath at night, for the purpose of establishing a "nighttime routine", ha.    

A New Chair For Baby Bear

Joe's sisters sent us this awesome bouncing & vibrating seat for Evie.  It's very soft and she's been reaching for the toys.  Occasionally, Evie will fall asleep in her new chair, which makes Mommy & Daddy so happy!

  

First Haircut

Our little Evelyn was born with lots of hair on the sides of her head and almost nothing on top.  And as cute as her "little old man" or "monk" look was, we decided to give the rest of her hair a chance to catch up.
