Final Days in Kansas

We spent so much time outside on this trip - the weather was fantastic and the kids loved being outdoors!  The kids all begged for rides in the wheelbarrow, and cried when the rides were over.  Papa added two more swings to the front porch during our visit, so now there are 4!  The last night that we were there, the adult kids sat around the firepit, laughed a lot, and we roasted all kinds of random food items we found in the house.  It was so fun, and we will miss everyone so much until next time!

I've already written about the awesomeness of this park before.  So I'll just share the adorable pics.  We had a super fun time there as always!!

A Day Trip for Joe & Jenell!

My mom is so awesome and offered to watch our kids for the day so we could go to Kansas City on our own.  We had hours of driving with uninterrupted conversation without our children, we ate lunch at one of our old favorite spots, walked around town, visited the art museum, and enjoyed an early dinner before heading back to Chanute.  It was GLORIOUS!
