Evie Crawls!!

We've been waiting for awhile now for Evelyn to start crawling.  And we were thankful that she wasn't yet mobile while we were busy packing up our apartment in Kansas City.  Then, a day after she arrives in Phoenix, she starts crawling!!

Update:  Two weeks later, Evie is crawling all over our new apartment, and has discovered how much she loves opening cabinet doors and pulling out its contents.

A Tree for Evelyn

This weekend, Evie's Grandpa decided to plant a tree for her on the farm.  It is a wild cherry tree, which seems fitting to her budding personality.  We hope that he has many more trees for many more grandchildren someday.

Weekend in Kansas

We had a great weekend in Chanute with our Kansas family.  Evie even helped Mommy celebrate her birthday!

The Moon Marble Company

This weekend, we finally got around to doing something we've been wanting to do for awhile now - check out the Moon Marble Company in Bonner Springs, Kansas!  It was a fun little trip, and we got to see a hilarious marble-making demonstration and we picked up a couple dozen more marbles for Mommy's ring.  And Evie seemed to enjoy it as much as we did!
