A Friend's Pool

Today, after Henry & I picked up Evie from school, we went to a pool!  A real pool - not the tiny inflatable pool on our back patio!  My friend Erica lives in a gated community with a really nice pool that no one ever uses, so she's offered to let us use it whenever we want.  We spent some time in the big pool, but the little adjacent "hot tub" area was perfect (and not heated).  Since I was the only adult present, I was only able to snap a few photos, but here they are:

Splash Pad!

This evening we went to an early dinner at Grimaldi's Pizzeria at Scottsdale Quarter.  After dinner, we walked over to the splash pad, and the kids had a ton of fun playing in the water.  I got to sit on my butt and watch them, and take photos.  It was a great way to finish off the weekend!

A Return to a Favorite Play Place

Joe took the kids to a play place for younger kids this morning.  They had so much fun!

Breakfast

My Aunt Trish made us a loaf of zucchini bread - yay!!  We love zucchini bread, and I never make it, so it was a special treat for breakfast this morning.  The kids especially were so thrilled.

A Downpour!

We had quite a rain this afternoon!  It just poured buckets... but we still had to play in it, of course.  Evie is obviously much better outfitted for the rain, but we have bought Henry a better rain jacket since then.  The kids had so much fun!

Superheroes!

This is just too cute.  We have two new Superheroes for you!  Evie is a new, ultimately prettier type of superhero, complete with jewelry, a layered skirt and sheer cape; while Henry is a new diaper-wearing type of superhero (as opposed to the traditional spandex underwear costume).  Hahahaha.. I love these pics.
