We Take Walks

This beautiful weather has reminded Joe & I of how much we enjoy taking Evie on walks.  One of the main benefits to taking Evie for a walk is that the two of us can have full conversations during her waking hours with relatively few interruptions.  Here are some cute pics of Evie on our walk this Saturday morning:

Evie's hair is finally long enough now for pigtails.  (Well, it might have been long enough awhile ago, but this is the first time that I tried it).  She looks so cute, but so much older now, right?

Evie "Helps"

Evie likes to help us do all kinds of things, like unfold laundry, reorganize our tupperware on the floor, push buttons on our laptops, sort our dvds, and move things around our apartment.  Today, she wanted to help me sweep the floor.  Instead, I gave her a rarely-used swiffer sweeper, which I realized could be made shorter by removing a couple of the handle sections.  Here are a few silly photos of her "helping":

Steele Indian School Park

So after walking to one of our favorite spots for breakfast on Saturday, we walked down to Steele Indian School Park, which is a really great park.  And one of the best things about it is that there is an additional  play area for toddlers.  Smaller parks usually just have a set of playground equipment for bigger kids.  Evie had a great time time and we really enjoyed watching her play.

Evelyn Eats

Actually, she eats a lot.  And one of her favorite foods is pasta (big surprise, right?).  And boy, is it always a messy time.

Desert Botanical Gardens

It was a gorgeous day on Saturday, so we decided to take advantage of our membership to the Desert Botanical Gardens and spend some time outdoors.  There is just so much to see and we saw a lot, including some ground squirrels, lots of birds, and a rabbit.  We didn't get photos of any of those, but here are some cute pics of Evie in her stroller:
