Mini Carousel Ride

I dragged the kids to Payless today to buy a new pair of shoes for Evie.  As we were leaving, they spotted this little carousel ride and begged to ride.  While I feel like these rides are a total rip-off at $1 for 3 minutes, I caved to give them an ounce of fun from this boring trip to a shoe store.  They loved it, so I guess it worth a buck, hahaha.  

A Little Sedona Getaway

My friend Erica offered to let us stay in her sweet RV, which she has lovingly renovated this last year, and has had parked in Sedona over the summer.  And my Aunt Trish & Uncle Marshall kindly offered to watch the kids for us over the weekend.  So Joe & I were able to embark on a little weekend getaway - hooray!  We had so much fun (without the kids), exploring Sedona, watching movies in the RV, and eating at a couple of fabulous restaurants.  I also surprised Joe with a reservation to Sedona Star Gazing, where we got to spend an evening looking through a giant telescope while an astronomer showed us various things in the night sky.  It was really cool, and Joe LOVED it!  We had such a great weekend!!

Sylvanna's Birthday

For Sylvanna's birthday, they invited the family to celebrate with brunch at Olive & Ivy.  It was super fun!

Face Painting

For Evie's birthday, Evie's Aunt Sabrina & Uncle Kevin sent her a book of face painting with the supplies.  So while Henry was napping today, Joe & Evie decided to try out them out.  They did such a great job and had a ton of fun painting each other's faces.
