Prescott Trip - just the two of us

Joe and I had the opportunity to go up to Prescott for the weekend, while Evie stayed with my Aunt Trish & Uncle Marshall (thank you guys!!!).  We checked out Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley, which was super fun.  We stayed at The Motor Lodge on Saturday night - so cool!  We walked around a lot, and checked out a bunch of antique stores.  We had dinner at a great restaurant and then watched a live band play at The Raven.  Best of all, we had lots of great, uninterrupted conversations and the ability to just really enjoy each other.  It was very special.

Making Sugar Cookies

Kristyn came up with a great idea while we were visiting - to let the kids make and decorate sugar cookies.  Evie got right into it, and had a fabulous time eating the dough.

Horseys Eat Apples

One of Evie's favorite activities while we're visiting Nana & Papa is to feed apples to the neighbor's horse every day.  

Trip To Kansas

At the first of November, we had an opportunity for the three of us to visit our family in Kansas.  We had such a great vacation and were thrilled to get to see everyone.  We spent a lot of time with Kristyn, Eric & Wyatt, Staci & Jonathan were able to come to Chanute for a few days, and we even got to see Kevin for the weekend!  It was so much fun!  Here are a few random pics from our trip.
