Splash Pad!

After a great lunch with Syl & Steve, we walked with the girls over to the splash pad area.  Evie and Sophia had such a fun time!

Fun Out Of The Sun

We took Evie to Paradise Valley Mall this morning for some air-conditioned entertainment.  Evie loved the carousel ride (which moved surprisingly fast) and the little choo-choo train.  She was waving to people in the mall as we rode around in the caboose.

Evening at the Zoo

Once a month during the summer, the Zoo stays open late and you can enjoy some unique evening zoo activities.  A lot of the animals actually go to bed early (like the monkeys, we found out) but we got to see a few others and the lions were pretty impressive.  It was still very hot and uncomfortable outside but the admission prices were reduced.  And there were snow cones.

Our New Niece!

Hannah Faith Bass was born on June 12 in Singapore to my brother, Kevin, and his wife Sabrina.  Isn't she so beautiful?!!  We can't wait to meet her and hold this precious and adorable little baby girl.

Fourth of July in Prescott

We took a day trip to Prescott for the 4th, so we could enjoy the holiday in only moderately hot weather.  We met up with our friends Andrea & Daniel, their sweet little girls, and Andrea's sister Melissa & her husband for a great picnic lunch at the Courthouse Square.  And we got to spend the evening with them at Andrea's parent's home for a barbecue.  Their whole family is so awesome and a ton of fun, we love getting to see them.  Also, Joe and Evie and I found a small park where we could watch the fireworks before heading home.  It was a really nice 4th of July this year!
