Christmas Photos
For this year's Holt Family Christmas Card, we decided that the easiest thing to do would be to just dress up the kids and take some photos at home. Oh, they looked so cute! But they didn't want to smile and cooperate with the photo shoot process. I was getting frustrated, saying "Evie, JUST SMILE!!". Finally, in a stroke of genius, Joe started making farting noises with his mouth, and the kids cracked up. Thanks to Joe's brilliant act of immaturity, we were able to get some great photos after all. The last pic is the one we used for the final Christmas card photo.

Snow!
There wasn't any snow in town at my Aunt Marian & Uncle Rick's house while we were there over the long weekend. So we drove a short distance to find some! Everyone had a really fun time, but Evie might have had the best time of all. She LOVED the snow and sledding. Joe & I watched Evie in total amazement as she ROCKED at sledding. She was sledding like an Olympic bobsledder, and it was incredible. She can't wait to go again!! (Henry wasn't a huge fan of the snow or sledding, but he was warming to it towards the end).

Thanksgiving!
This year, we joined Trish, Marshall, Jennifer & Kelsey at my Aunt Marian & Uncle Rick's house in Pinetop-Lakeside for Thanksgiving. The kids had a really great time, and we hope we can go back again soon!!

Children's Museum
We had a membership to the Children's Museum when Evie was 2 years old. The next year, we had a little Henry and it just wasn't ideal so we didn't renew. But there was a Groupon recently for admission to the Children's Museum, and we snatched it up. Joe took Evie this afternoon, while Henry took a nap at home. They had so much fun!!

Veteran's Day Parade
I took the kids to the Veteran's Day Parade again today. (Sadly, it's not a holiday that Joe gets off of work). Evie found a few friends to play with nearby, and Henry was mostly satisfied with hanging out in the stroller (I forgot the blanket in the car). This parade is very long, with a lot of unrelated participants, so we left after about an hour. As Evie was playing with her new friends, she stopped to randomly ask one of the dads, "do cars have bones?" Hahaha, she's such a funny girl.
