Possibly The Silliest Contest Ever

I can't remember who initiated it, but there was a hilarious competition between Joe and Staci for who could lick off the white center of an oreo the fastest.  Joe won, but it was close.  It was so funny, I should have taken video instead of photos.

A House for Yellow

Staci & Jonathan's dog, Yellow, needed a dog house since it's been so cold this year.  So Staci & Jonathan designed a brilliant one for him and Joe helped them to finish it before they left for western Kansas.  Evie and I participated by watching them work and taking photos, haha.

Game Night

My family has always loved playing games at the dining room table, and Christmas night was no exception.  But the last couple of years, Joe has introduced a new tradition of playing for silly prizes.  So this year, Joe and I went to the dollar store and had a great time buying a bunch of inexpensive junk treasures.  We played Apples to Apples and just had a hilarious evening together.

Christmas 2012

I just love Christmas with my family.  We wake up around 9 and check out our stockings first thing, eat a wonderful breakfast together, and slowly open all of our presents one at a time.  And as much as I always enjoyed our adult Christmas holidays, it's really fun now to watch the little ones open presents and play in the boxes and wrapping paper.
