July Miscellaneous

Wow, what a fun and very hot month it has been!  We really enjoyed our adult trip to Vegas and otherwise stayed inside a lot.

Did you spot the flying inflatable pool soaring over our neighborhood?!!  We've had some nice windy and/or overcast days too, which have been great.  

New Cootie Game!

Trish & Marshall gave Evie the Cootie game!  My siblings and I had this game when I was little, so it brings back some fun memories.

Evie's 1st Haircut

We finally took Evie for her very first professional haircut.  She didn't love the experience, but it looks really great and the stylist was able to fix all the bad trims I've given her myself.  Joe thinks her bangs were cut too short, but this way I won't have to give her another bad bang trim for a little while.  :)

Target

Joe is really awesome.  Joe takes the kids to Target to pick up stuff for me, and to entertain the kids for awhile in the toy aisles.  Joe loves me so much that he lets me stay home and take a break.  Joe also loves playing with toys.

Henry Loves To Vacuum

No, he really does.  Henry LOVES the vacuum.  I have to fight him to be able to vacuum our floor.  And he means business.

Meanwhile...

Evie & Henry had a super fun weekend with Trish & Marshall, Jennifer & Kelsey.  Honestly, Evie & Henry really didn't seem like they wanted to come home with us when we went to pick them up.  Thank you again for watching our kiddos!!!

Vegas, Baby!

For Syl & Steve's 40th birthdays this year, we all went to Las Vegas to celebrate!  (Big thanks to Trish & Marshall who watched the kiddos for us!!)  We had some fancy meals, checked out some swanky places, and spent some relaxing time by the pool.  It was awesome!!  And Joe & I got to see the Cirque du Soliel Michael Jackson One show on our last night.  We really had a fabulous weekend!!
