New Year's Eve at Sue's House

I stayed home sick this evening, but Joe took the Evie & Henry to Sue's house where they celebrated New Year's Eve with Joe's family until it was bedtime for the kiddos.  Honestly, I have no idea what all I missed out on except that I know they ate chinese food and had a really fun time.

On our final day in Kansas, we squeezed in a little time to finally bake sugar cookies so that Evie could use her new rolling pin that she got from Nana & Papa for Christmas.  So fun!  We will miss you all so much!!!

Christmas in Kansas - Part 6

Today was slightly warmer than previous days, so we took the opportunity to get the kids outside for a little fresh air.  They had so much fun gathering eggs, jumping in a big pile of raked leaves, swinging on the porch, feeding the goats and chickens, and getting rides in a wheelbarrow!  It was Evie and Hannah's first ride in a wheelbarrow and they loved it!  Kevin and I quickly realized what a workout it is to push kiddos in a wheelbarrow, wow.
