San Diego Trip #4
After nap time, we drove a very short distance north to Belmont Park to check it out and see what was there. Belmont Park is an historic amusement park that has been a staple of Mission Beach since the 1920's. And we figured it was at least worth checking out because of the free parking and free admission. We were happy to find a few rides that were age-appropriate for our kiddos. They especially loved these little cars that just went around an oval track and sped up around the two ends. Finally, we walked around a bit and found a great restaurant on the boardwalk, where we ate dinner on the patio and watched the sun set over the ocean. It was such a fun night!
