Audubon Enchanted Forest Fall Festival

Joe was occupied with a comicon panel this evening, so I took the kids to a free family event at the Rio Salado Audubon Center.  This was our first year so it was an adventure for all of us.  We started by going on a short, guided night hike along a trail lit by a lot of spooky Christmas lights.  Then we saw some very interesting nocturnal wildlife creatures, and Evie got to hold a snake and a turtle.  (She's so brave!)  The kids also colored and decorated paper masks.  Some of the kids were wearing their Halloween costumes, and so Henry naturally felt inspired to challenge this older kid in a Batman costume - which was just hilarious.
