Best Kids' Birthday Party Ever

On Saturday morning, I took the kids to a joint birthday party for their friends - Hannah & Eli.  Hannah is in Evie's class, and Eli is in Henry's class, so it's perfect.  And as our kids are getting older, we've attended quite a few kids' birthday parties now.  This one was plain awesome, in my opinion.  The kids ran around and played outside, while the adults supervised, chatted, and snacked on bagels, fruit, coffee & juice.  The invite asked attendees to NOT bring any gifts, which was one less thing to worry about.  And there were no party favors (aka stuff we don't need), which was so refreshing.  Cake was cut and eaten, and then we all went home.  It was perfect.  I love these people.
