Kansas Trip - Part 3
Evie sure enjoys "life on the farm". She's having a fantastic time running around with a wood rake, chasing the goats, picking tomatoes, feeding the goats and chickens, and getting really dirty. She had run so far out into one of the fields that I had to go after her, and when I got there she stated she had to go potty. So naturally, I taught her to squat and pee in the grass, which she thought was super cool, of course. Henry is also loving the baby swing and all of the attention from everyone. We got really lucky and Staci & Jonathan are staying here right now while they're closing on their new house. And it's been so fun getting to spend time with Kristyn & Eric, as well.
Kansas Trip - Part 2
It's always so much fun visiting Nana & Papa! We've had a great time with everyone and there are always so many things for the kids to do. The weather is pretty warm, but we're still able to be outside quite a bit. We bought this inflatable pool for their place, but the water was pretty chilly for the kids to really enjoy. Evie and Wyatt have been getting along really well. Evie really loves it here!!

Kansas Trip - Day 1
We had an afternoon flight to Kansas, and this first photo is me at the airport, loaded up with 3 bags and two small children. It was the first time traveling since Henry was born and we had to go without Joe (since he didn't have the vacation time). The kids did pretty good on the plane, and Evie really loves flying. After arriving in Wichita, my parents picked us up at the airport and we stopped off at a restaurant for a quick bite and a rest before our 2-hour drive to Chanute.
Meanwhile, back home, Joe had a much-needed night out with one of his best friends, Jamel. I can't remember what Joe said they did that night, but apparently it was epic.
Pre-Flight Park Visit
We're slowly getting a little smarter about traveling with the kids, and this time we stopped off at a park for some play time before beginning our trip back to visit Nana & Papa. It is just a little park near the Mesa-Gilbert airport, actually in the middle of a planned neighborhood community, but it was deserted that day and fit the bill perfectly. We had a great time with Joe before we had to say goodbye, and the kids got some fresh air and exercise before beginning our long journey to my parent's home in Kansas. Somehow this was also Henry's first time on a park swing, and he really loved it.

Henry Turns 7 Months Old!
Our little Henry is just the biggest sweetheart of a baby. Still not sleeping through the night, but that's okay because he's so darn adorable. Henry has the most delightful personality, easy-going, and very happy. Not crawling yet, but we expect it soon. He adores his big sister, and so far she seems to like him too. We feel so very blessed to have Henry.

Pool Time Again!
We bought the kids this inflatable pool for the summer, and they are really enjoying it. Every time we have to deflate it, the next morning Evie runs over to the patio doors and yells "Oh no, where the pool go?!!" It's been good fun during these hot summer months.
