Herberger Festival of The Arts

Joe also took Evie & Sophia to the Herberger Festival of The Arts this afternoon, while Henry took a nap at home.  The girls had so much fun getting their faces painted, making some cool crafts, and watching a couple of dance performances.

Piñata!

Sophia came over to play today!  Evie has been asking for a piñata, so we finally bought one.  And it was actually the perfect time for it, since we had a ton of leftover Halloween candy to fill up the piñata with.  The kids loved it!

Trick-Or-Treating

Syl, Steve & Sophia joined us on Halloween for dinner and trick-or-treating.  The kids really had a lot of fun, loved getting candy, and we really enjoyed watching Henry try to keep up with the girls.

Evie & Henry Halloween Costumes

I've already mentioned the origins of Evie's costume.  Henry's costume was Joe's idea - Indiana Jones!  I wasn't so sure that we could pull it off, but it actually came together pretty easy.  Henry was given a brown suede bomber jacket by Sue that worked perfectly.  I found a hat on Etsy.  Joe already had this little satchel that I distressed with some sandpaper, and Joe already had the whip as well.  (Don't ask, haha).  And finally, we already had the snake, which Joe had bought for Evie months ago.  Henry looked SO good!  Joe snapped these awesome pictures before we headed out for trick-or-treating.
