Kansas Trip - Part 6

A short trip to a rural veterinarian's office!  A local vet lives and works about a mile from my parent's home.  She always takes in injured or displaced animals, and has an interesting group of parrots, a large elk, goats, horses and sometimes deer.  We got to feed the elk an elk snack, pet the goats, and talk to the parrots.  One of the parrots could say "hello!", which Evie was immediately in love with.  She talked to the parrot, asking what it's name was, and repeatedly returning to "check on" the parrot.  It was so sweet!!
