Meanwhile...

Joe has been at home for the last 9 days, missing us like crazy, crying himself to sleep alone every night.  Actually, we timed our trip so that Joe could feel free to attend every hour of Phoenix Comicon that he wished.  This year, he co-led 3 different panels with his best buddy, Jamel.  And he was able to spend a ton of time catching up with friends, which was awesome.  No doubt he missed us, but hopefully it was a bit of a stay-cation (while working) for Joe, too.  I have evidence that he was having at least a little bit of fun while we were gone.
