We love going to the pumpkin festival at the Desert Botanical Gardens every year. This year was super fun too, even though it was a really hot day. The kids loved all of the games, the live music, the hayride, picking their own pumpkins and decorating them, and riding on ponies. So many adorable pics, (except for ones where the kids tried to ruin our family photos, haha).

Audubon Enchanted Forest Fall Festival
Joe was occupied with a comicon panel this evening, so I took the kids to a free family event at the Rio Salado Audubon Center. This was our first year so it was an adventure for all of us. We started by going on a short, guided night hike along a trail lit by a lot of spooky Christmas lights. Then we saw some very interesting nocturnal wildlife creatures, and Evie got to hold a snake and a turtle. (She's so brave!) The kids also colored and decorated paper masks. Some of the kids were wearing their Halloween costumes, and so Henry naturally felt inspired to challenge this older kid in a Batman costume - which was just hilarious.
A Birthday Party at The Children's Museum
One of Evie's friends from school invited us to his birthday party at The Children's Museum downtown. In addition to the private birthday party setup, the families get access to the museum for the day. So we all went and played at the museum for awhile before attending the party. Evie has been to The Children's Museum many times before, but I think this is the first time that Henry has gone since he was a baby. The kids had so much fun!!!

Cake Pops!
Joe took the kids to the mall tonight. They have a fun kids' play area, and Joe also takes them to the Disney Store to look around and gets them a treat.
