The Banana Slicer

I cannot even remember where we got this banana slicer.  I know I didn't buy it, and I've never used it (we have knives, you know).  But it's lived in a crowded drawer among our other kitchen utensils for a long time.  The other day, Evie pulled it out to play with it and I explained to her what it was for.  So when I suggested bananas for a snack today, she stopped and declared, "I know!" and then ran for the banana slicer.  Anyway, it was a fun tool for her to use, and she enjoyed preparing this little snack for herself and her brother.
